Version 1.5 features faster loading guys and a redesigned user interface to give you a polished, more optimized view of the guys near you. You’re also getting tons of new features, including:
- Additional Cascade Views – Now you can filter the cascade you see: All Users (your favorites and nearby users), Nearby Users (without your favorites), Only Favorites, and Recent Chats (guys you’ve chatted with in the past 30 days).
- New Profile Fields – Relationship Status & Looking For
- New User Tab – Yellow tabs appear on new profile thumbnails since your last refresh
- New Sounds – Additional interface sounds and sound settings
- Metric/Imperial Settings
- Report Profile – Report a user for violating Grindr Terms of Service
- Hide/Show Stats – Single tap on a profile to hide or show profile stats
- Copy Chat Bubbles - Copy chat bubbles to your clipboard
- More Social Links - Additional social link options include Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Support Email - Contact customer support via in-app support emails
And with Grindr Xtra, that’s not all - In addition to the Xtra features you’ve grown to love like profile swipe, push notifications, no ad banners, and more guys, Xtra 1.5 includes these excellent new exclusive features:
- Cascade Swipe – Swipe through each new cascade view quickly, just like profiles.
- Saved Phrases – Save chat bubbles with phrases you frequently use and easily access them to send without typing them out.
- Saved Photos – Send photos you frequently use quickly without having to go into your photo library.
- Send Multiple Photos – Select several photos and send them all at once to another user.
- Quick Menu – In the chat screen, access the Quick Menu to view your saved photos, phrases, and active chats and easily send items or switch chats – less tapping, more Grinding.
