Grindr has reached a significant mark in our history, having now amassed 3 million users (and counting) in 192 countries around the globe. This makes Grindr the largest all-male location-based social network in the world.
Grown from the ground up, Grindr has accumulated users as far as Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Rwanda, Bhutan, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Haiti, Iran, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Malawi, Samoa, Sri Lanka and Yemen.
The US is home to one million Grindr users- with 60,600 based in New York City, 32,500 in Los Angeles and 27,100 in San Francisco. The UK and Australia are also on board- with 315,200 (UK) and 147,800 (Australia) in each country.
Daily, there are 668,400 active users who log on approximately eight times per day and spend an average of 1.5 hours each day using the app. On a weekly basis, the number of active users grows to 1.13 million and on a monthly basis that number climbs to nearly 1.95 million.
