The Grindr tech team has been working tirelessly to address the issues iOS users told us about, and we’re very happy to announce the unveiling of our cleaned-up and much-improved Grindr version 1.7.10 and Grindr Xtra version 1.7.11, which are now available for immediate download on your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.
What have we done to improve your user experience? We started with taking care of those pesky “Request unsuccessful” and “Profile information update failed” error messages. Then, we got rid of the bug that allowed blocked users to still communicate with the users who blocked them. Finally, we added a new request for support and a link to the Grindr knowledge base within the app itself, and we fixed a handful of other issues that were causing Grindr to crash.
For our Grindr Xtra guys, we remedied the problems with push notifications not matching messages in the app when you logged in.
